These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any product design, UX, UI, web design, consulting, or related services provided by Abdullah Saliu Design.

By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Our Services

Abdullah Saliu Design is an independent design studio that helps SaaS companies, startups, and premium businesses create digital products and websites that improve user experience, strengthen brands, and support business growth.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

Every project is customized to the client's needs.

2. Project Process

Every engagement generally follows the same process:

  1. Discovery Call

  2. Project Proposal

  3. Scope Confirmation

  4. Contract Agreement

  5. Initial Payment

  6. Design Execution

  7. Feedback & Revisions

  8. Final Delivery

Project timelines begin only after all required information, assets, and the agreed payment have been received.

3. Proposals & Scope

Each project includes a written proposal outlining:

  • Project objectives

  • Scope of work

  • Deliverables

  • Timeline

  • Investment

  • Revision limits

  • Payment schedule

Only the work specifically described in the proposal is included.

Requests outside the agreed scope may require a revised timeline and additional fees.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure projects move efficiently, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate project information

  • Supply required content, branding, and assets

  • Respond to feedback requests within a reasonable timeframe

  • Review work promptly

  • Designate a primary decision-maker whenever possible

Delays in communication may affect project timelines.

5. Payments

Payment terms are specified in each proposal.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • A deposit is required before work begins.

  • Remaining payments are due according to the agreed milestone schedule.

  • Final files are delivered after the final payment has been received.

Late payments may result in paused work until outstanding balances are settled.

6. Revisions

Projects include the number of revision rounds specified in the proposal.

A revision refers to refining or improving an approved direction.

Requests involving significant new features, major redesigns, or changes to previously approved work may be treated as additional scope and quoted separately.

7. Design Partnership

For clients engaging in an ongoing design partnership:

  • Work is planned collaboratively based on agreed priorities.

  • Response times and availability are defined before the engagement begins.

  • Either party may end the partnership with reasonable written notice unless otherwise agreed.

Specific partnership terms are outlined in the individual agreement.

8. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment:

  • The client receives ownership of the final approved design deliverables created specifically for the project.

  • Abdullah Saliu Design retains ownership of preliminary concepts, unused explorations, internal working files, design methodologies, and reusable systems unless otherwise agreed.

The client is responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any content, images, logos, or trademarks they provide.

9. Portfolio Rights

Unless a written Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) states otherwise, Abdullah Saliu Design may showcase completed work in:

  • Portfolio

  • Website

  • Behance

  • LinkedIn

  • Case studies

  • Social media

  • Awards or design publications

Confidential information will never be disclosed without permission.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential information private.

This includes:

  • Business strategies

  • Product roadmaps

  • User research

  • Financial information

  • Internal documentation

  • Unreleased designs

  • Technical information

Confidential information will not be shared with third parties except where required to deliver the project or by law.

11. Third-Party Services

Projects may involve third-party tools or platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Figma

  • Framer

  • Webflow

  • WordPress

  • Stripe

  • Google Workspace

  • Notion

  • Calendly

  • Analytics platforms

Abdullah Saliu Design is not responsible for downtime, pricing changes, security incidents, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers.

12. Project Delays

Projects may be delayed if:

  • Required assets are not supplied.

  • Feedback is significantly delayed.

  • Project scope changes.

  • Unexpected technical issues arise.

  • Events outside reasonable control occur.

Project deadlines may be adjusted accordingly.

13. Cancellation

Clients may cancel a project before work begins.

If work has already started:

  • Payments made for completed work are non-refundable.

  • Work completed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced.

  • Deliverables corresponding to paid work will be provided where appropriate.

14. Refund Policy

Because design services involve significant time and creative effort, payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

Refund requests are considered individually where appropriate.

15. No Guarantee of Business Results

Great design improves user experience and creates stronger business opportunities.

However, Abdullah Saliu Design cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as:

  • Revenue growth

  • Funding success

  • Increased sales

  • Higher conversion rates

  • User acquisition

  • Search rankings

  • Investor investment

Business performance depends on many factors beyond design.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abdullah Saliu Design shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Lost profits

  • Lost business opportunities

  • Data loss

  • Business interruption

  • Third-party software failures

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

17. Website Content

All content on this website—including text, graphics, case studies, branding, layouts, illustrations, and original designs—is protected by intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, redistributed, or commercially used without written permission.

18. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically.
